Exam preparation:
To help you prepare for your finals, the library has collected a number of study aide resources that may be useful to you. A popular set used by many students is the Examples & Explanations Series. This set combines text to explain legal doctrines with exercises to give practice in applying the concepts. To view a list of available titles, do a key word search in the library catalog for “examples and explanations.”
The library catalog can be accessed here: http://libcat.widener.edu
The library staff would remind you these study materials have shortened check-out times, usually for three days, to ensure many students will have the opportunity to use them. Please be courteous to your classmates and make sure to check the due-date on your library resources and return them on-time.
To help you better prepare for your finals, many of the Harrisburg faculty toward the end of the semester will place old law exams on reserve in the library. These exams can be checked-out for up to three hours so you can review them or make photo-copies. Come to the information desk, or call 717-541-3933, to see whether your professor has an old exam on-file.
