FOR STUDENTS SEEKING INTERNSHIP AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL LAW:
Andrew Bockis, assistant counsel for the PA Department of Environmental Protection, will be coming to Widener to speak to the Environmental Law and Policy Society, and any other interested students, about his position as DEP assistant counsel and possible social and educational opportunities for Widener students in conjunction with the Environmental and Energy Law Section of the PA Bar. This section of the PA Bar consists of attorneys that work for the government, in private practice, and for public interest groups.
All students are welcome and are encouraged to bring questions and suggestions about how Widener can cooperate with this and other sections of the PA Bar to increase internship, pro bono, and networking opportunities for Widener students. Mr. Bockis will answer questions and provide our feedback to the PA Bar next week. Mr. Bockis was previously an assistant counsel at the Environmental Hearing Board.
