A new book, TAKING THE HILL: From Philly to Baghdad to the United States Congress, has just been published. The book was written by Congressman Patrick J. Murphy, who graduated from Widenerís Harrisburg campus in 1999. He went on to become a West Point professor, a JAG Corps attorney, and serve two deployments the first to Bosnia in 2002 and the second to Baghdad, Iraq in 2003-2004. CRIMTORTS SYMPOSIUM

The Widener Law Journal is proud to sponsor the first national symposium on the emerging legal concept of crimtorts. The symposium will feature nationally recognized scholars who will address the basic concept of crimtorts and a variety of practical issues.
