Professor Moringiello receives award

Professor Juliet M. Moringiello will be a recipient of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Special Achievement Award. The honor will be given in Philadelphia during the association’s annual meeting June 21 and it recognizes Professor Moringiello for her efforts on behalf of the association’s business law section toward making Pennsylvania a more business-friendly state. From the press release: FindLaw.com and JusticeLearning.org, a collaboration between National Public Radio’s Justice Talking program and The New York Times Learning Network, are jointly producing an informative new online feature called “Today in Legal History.”
“Today in Legal History” is a brief, informative daily feature that highlights a historical event relevant to law or government. The feature appears on both the Findlaw and Justice Learning Web sites. “Today in Legal History” covers noteworthy court cases, significant legislation and other landmark events; it also features links to additional resources, including audio clips from Justice Talking and information from FindLaw and other Web sites.
