Google Fights DOJ Order to Produce Records of Database Searches

 Findlaw: “In an attempt to learn more about computer users searching for p*rn*graphy on the internet, the U.S. government filed a motion in federal court in California seeking to compel Google to to turn over “a multi-stage random sample of one million URL’s” from Google’s database, and a computer file with “the text of each search string entered onto Googleís search engine over a one-week period.”
