Meet the library staff — Laurie Palumbo

Laurie Palumbo is the new Technical services Librarian at the Delaware campus. She is responsible for the cataloging and maintenance of the library’s collection. Although Laurie has been cataloging the past eight years in academic and museum libraries, this is her first time working in a law school library. She is excited to learn about this field and be of service to the Widener community.

A native of the Philadelphia suburbs, Laurie’s background is in fine art – she has a BFA from Temple University and a MFA from the Ohio State University. Her passion for learning and sharing information would lead her to library school at Drexel University where she received her MS-LIS.

Now residing in Delaware, Laurie likes to spend her free time with her family, cooking and baking, reading, trying to teach herself to sew, playing super heroes with her son, and taking credit for her husband’s beautiful garden.
