Meet the Library Staff: Enza Klotzbucher

klotzbucherEnza Klotzbucher, Reference/Interlibrary Loan Librarian, was born in a remote mountain village in Italy, came with her parents to Concord Township, PA, when she was seven years old, and grew up to earn a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Widener. She went on to earn a master’s degree in library science from Villanova University, then master’s degrees in human resources and education from Widener. Enza started working part time at the Law Library in 1987 and became the full-time Interlibrary Loan Librarian in 1991. She also works at the Reference Desk, but her favorite part of her job is finding obscure books for professors and persuading other libraries to lend them to our library for professors to use in their research. Enza lives in Concord Township with her husband Bill, a retired chemical engineer, who is a Civil War buff and an avid sailor. One of her sons is an attorney in Washington, DC, and the other, a Widener University alumnus, does social work. Enza loves spending summer weekends at her lovely seaside home in Townsends Inlet, NJ. Many other weekends during the year are spent sailing on the Chesapeake Bay or visiting Civil War battlefields. Enza can usually be found on the Chester campus on the last Wednesday evening of every month during the academic year attending Italian Cinema night, where she can enjoy Italian films without having to read the subtitles.
