National Electronic Records Archive to be created

The National Archives has announced
that a contractor has been selected to create an Electronic Records
Archive for the agency. The system will “capture and preserve the
electronic records of the Federal
Government, regardless of format, ensure hardware and software
independence, and provide access to the American Public and Federal
officials.”
